Antenatal Clinics (Thursday 9.00 am – 12.00 noon)
Appointments with the antenatal clinic can be arranged by the receptionists or by contacting the community midwife, Mrs Mary McCurry who provides antenatal care and advice on pregnancy.
Baby Clinics & Child Health (Tuesday 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm)
This clinic is for child developmental checks and childhood immunisations. A doctor will be in attendance between 2 – 3 pm. Your Health Visitor will provide you with advice and information to help you make choices about your family’s health. Contact with the Health Visitor can be in your home, Doctor’s surgery or Health Centre. Please enquire at reception.
Practice Nursing Team (028 2076 8663)
The Practice Nursing Team, supported by the doctors provide a range of medical, clinical & screening services to patients through Health Promotion clinics. Appointments can be made with the practice nurses for general health checks including blood pressure, weight and cholesterol. If you are aged 75 or over, you may be invited to attend for an annual health check. If you are housebound a home visit can be arranged
Asthma Clinic /Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Clinic
Patients may make appointments to attend this clinic which is managed by the doctors and our Practice nursing team.
Diabetic Clinic
Patients may make appointments to attend this clinic which is managed by the doctors and our practice nursing team
Coronary Heart Disease Prevention Clinic
You may be invited to attend this clinic to monitor risk factors such as cholesterol, high blood pressure, weight and smoking.
Well Woman Clinic
Dr McLister and Jo Willmont, one of our practice nursing team, are available by appointment for consultation on women’s health issues and for cervical smear screening tests. These appointments may be booked at reception.
Well Man Clinic
Patients are encouraged to make an appointment with Dr Martin O’Kane or any of the doctors for consultation on men’s health issues including testicular and prostate checks.
Contraception & Family Planning
Contraceptive services including implant insertion/removal are provided by the practice and are available by appointment during surgery hours. If you would like the implant inserted or removed, please make an appointment with Dr Claire McLister, Dr Mary McLister or Dr Jan Robinson to discuss this.

Flu Vaccination
An influenza vaccination is strongly recommended for those over 65 years of age or those who have diabetes, lung, heart or kidney disease. The clinics generally commence at the beginning of October. Please contact reception staff for further information.
